Slice of life

On May 25th 2016 was the day I got my first iPhone. I waited 2 years for that moment to happen. My family didn't have enough money to get me an iPhone. It was a busy hot day. It was already 5pm and I thought I wasn't getting the phone. I was slowly losing my hope of getting an iPhone. Then my mom told my dad if we can go to the Apple Store and my dad said yes. I got so excited. I started to blast music into my ears. As we were arriving at OakBrook, my dad started to joke about how he "forgot" his credit card. But really he had his credit card. We went into the Apple Store and got my first iPhone 6.

How I got to know more about technology

I was 11 years old when I got my first iPad. I didn't know how to use it. It was actually my first hands on electronic. First day I didn't do much on the iPad because I was so scared to download something in the app store. Second day with it, I decided to watch some youtube videos about the iPad. I've learned so many things about it. But not as much as I know right now. I started to continue to watch a lot of videos about the iPad everyday. It was like a daily thing. I come home, I go straight to my room and watch videos. Everyday my mom would yell at me because I'm on my iPad everyday. A year past, I was interested to learn about other electronics. Not just the iPad. From there, I started to learn more about the iPhones, MacBook, and Apple tv. Today I know so much about technology and how they were made.
Below is a link to a short video of how the iPhone 7 was made.

What I'm Loving

I love my dog Hunter. He is 3 years old and a Siberian Husky. We got Hunter on February 14, 2014 at 11:37pm. Hunter is loving dog and he loves to play with the other 2 dogs I have.
I've been using this computer everyday to read articles about phones and stuff. I love this computer a lot.
I'm loving this lightning dock a lot because I like how my phone looks when its on the dock. Even it's easier to charge my phone.
This Apple Watch has been a life saver for me because when it's passing period, I can just raise up my wrist and see the time.
I've been loving these bluetooth headphones because since my other headphones doesn't work, I get to use these and it's bluetooth. I'm that type of person to be wireless.

The time when I got hit by a car

This one day, scariest day of my life, when I got hit by a car. This happened right after school when I was walking home from school. My friend Samra and I were all happy then right when I was about to cross I had to say bye to Samra because she had to go to another way. As I was waiting for the light to change, Samra already disappeared and I was alone at the stop light. It was a busy road with a lot of cars passing. When the light change, I crossed and I was only about 4 inches away from the sidewalk. As a white truck that had a trailer on the back and was going at least 15 mph, hit me. The trailer took my leg and I spun around then fell right in the middle of the street. I was confused of what had happened. I didn't know what was happening. I was looking around as cars stopped. As I noticed my glasses and phone had fell. I started to notice that I got hit by a car. I told myself to get up and go to the sidewalk or else a car will might hit me again because I was in the middle of the street. I stood, it was blurry I couldn't see well. I noticed there's a kid holding his hand out, I told him to stay in the sidewalk. I didn't want him to come close to the street. When I got close to him, I grabbed his hand because I felt like I was going to faint. I sat down on the floor trying to think what just happened. I thought it was a dream. A white car stopped where I was sitting, it was a guy that asked me if I was ok. I remember shaking my head. Surprisingly I wasn't crying. I was just shocked. But as a group of people came by me, and some of them I knew from school. But I just couldn't see them well. One of them asked me if I wanted to call my mom. I didn't want to because I know my mom would react when I say "I got hit by a car." So I didn't want to. But another guy offered me to call my parents. I told him no too. But he said he will talk to them. I gave him my house phone number. As he was calling, he asked me if I wanted an ambulance. I told him no because I remember the ambulance bills are going to be huge, so why not walk to the hospital if it's only 3 blocks away. But either way he called the ambulance. Someone called the police, the police came. I started to get scared of how my mom would react. I started to cry a lot. The police came by me and asked me questions. Then he told me that the people will help me. (Ambulance people). Hours later at the hospital, I got better. They took x-rays to make sure nothing was broken.
Two days later my dad was thinking to get a lawyer for court. I wasn't sure what the lawyer was for and I just thought it just someone that will be your side and help you. Later on my dad got a lawyer. Her name is Jennifer. She was really nice and she told me to fill out a two page sheet. The sheet was just asking what had happened, my age, birth date, etc. My lawyer suggested to see a doctor that is like 40 minutes away from where I live. I went to see the doctor that Jessica told me to see, and it was pretty weird because on the outside it looks like a small place but inside it was big with a two story building. When I saw the doctor, he was asking me questions like where did I get hit, what parts hurts the most. I told him my leg hurts the most. I had a huge bruise on my left leg. The doctor gave me a waist thing which I forgot what it was called and cream for my leg. After all that, he doctor told me that I need physical therapy for at least 2 months. I was shocked when he said "For 2 months". So then he told my parents which place I will be going for therapy. My therapy was in Orland Park. When I enter the therapy place, I was scared because I never been to therapy. This guy took me in just so he can know what happened and what parts I need to work on. I told him my leg is the most part that is hurting when I walk, run, or even stand on it. Then, I told him about my arm and hip. He said the part where I got hit on my leg was pretty hard. After that he took me into this area where it has these exercise machines etc. There was a girl who told me that my leg and back is pretty weak. My therapy session was 53 minutes for Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday. My opinion for therapy is that it's pretty “fun” and relaxing at the end because they put you in a room with a machine that's for shocking your leg but in a relaxing way.
After therapy session, I had to go to Cook County court. That day I was pretty scared. I was so nervoubs. I was thinking of what I was going to say in court when they ask me the questions. Also, that day I was going to see the guy who hit me. I was curious to see how the guy looked like. In the police report it said he was in his 70s. I was really shocked to see that. Now, I remember walking towards the door. I had to go through security for safety reasons. Then from there, the court room I was going to enter was right there. A huge door with black tint window. You couldn't see what was happening in the courtroom. 20 minutes past and finally someone else case ended so it was my turn to go in. At that moment my hands were shaking a lot. A bunch of people went into the courtroom. I saw this man going into the courtroom and I was wondering if that was the guy that hit me. An hour past as I was waiting for my name to be called. Finally, the judge called my name and the guy's name too. When I got up people were staring at me and I felt uncomfortable. At the same time, the same guy as I think it was him. I was right. It was him. I felt weird walking right next to him. From there, the judge asked him if he felt guilty or not guilty, right away he said “Not guilty”. I was shocked for him to say not guilty. I was kinda getting mad. The judge asked him if he was sure that he is not guilty. Right away again he says “Not guilty”. The judge told us to go sit down and have a talk after the court session. I was terrified. I sat down and I noticed the police that was there when I got hit. Minutes past as I was waiting for everyone to leave. Then finally we were alone. The judge called us up again. I went up and the judge called the police over to have evidence and back me up. The judge was asking me questions. I answered them clearly as possible. After that, the judge asked the man again if he felt guilty or not guilty. He said it in a mad way, “ Not guilty not guilty not guilty” Repeatedly. Then the judge was saying ok ok not guilty. At the moment everyone was mad how he got away with it. The police that was there for me was mad too. Even the prosecutor. I was really mad and sad. I went home sad. From there, my dad called the lawyer and told them what had happened. The lawyer said “The case isn't over”. So from today, Jan. 19 2017, the case is still going and also, my left leg is still hurting until this day.
